Janet Balekian is an extremist who regularly promotes transphobic and anti-union content on platforms like Wise Nuts. At one point she was a teacher in Burbank Unified. It is unclear where her children attend school or if she has kids in any public schools. Janet Balekian filed to run for Glendale School Board in the upcoming June 2026 election.
